Psychological help and support for Adjusting to Living Abroad for Interational Expats and Students
My private clinical practice is specialized in providing Medical Psychotherapy and Counselling to the International Expats and their Families. The advanced support I am providing to my clients is based on long-term clinical experience, training at leading medical institutions in the Czech Republic and also in the United States, including repetitive study stays at Mayo Clinic, and my direct involvement in research and educational programs, resulting e.g. into developing original courses, publishing original therapeutic books and participation at International Scientific Meetings and Conferences as presenting author or speaker.
Since I have lived and worked in the United States, my personal experience of dealing with situations related to the joys and also challenges of living abroad and returning to one´s home country allow me to understand the needs of my clients and provide them highly individualized help and support.
The second clinical program in my practice is related to „The Unsung Heroes Project R“ which is my original project of specialized medical psychotherapy programs developed to help siblings of pediatric patients with oncological or other serious disease.
